OUR STORY
William Bennett is built around a simple idea.
We move through life more intentionally when we move gently.
We create clothing meant to feel calm, comfortable, and natural in daily life.
The intention is not to stand apart from life, but to sit quietly within it.
Our collections are intentionally minimal. Fewer pieces, considered materials, and forms
that integrate easily into everyday routines.
LEVE BLIDT, meaning Live Gently, is the philosophy behind every piece. It is a reminder
to slow down, choose thoughtfully, and remain aware of what surrounds us.
William Bennett is designed for daily use. Quiet, steady, and uncomplicated.
HOW WE MAKE OUR CLOTHING
Each item is produced after it is chosen rather than mass manufactured in advance. This approach reduces excess inventory and unnecessary waste.
We select garments for comfort, structure, and regular wear. Our production partners are chosen for responsible practices and consistent construction.
We do not use leather, wool, silk, or other animal derived fabrics. This is a material standard followed across every collection.
Packaging uses post consumer recycled materials whenever possible.
This is slow fashion in practice. Thoughtful production and careful material choices.
WHY IT MATTERS
William Bennett began with a belief that values should be reflected in how a company operates.
A portion of profits supports organizations working in animal welfare, conservation, and environmental protection across Canada. We support sanctuaries, advocacy groups, and local rescue efforts doing consistent work.
These actions are part of how the company is run. The clothing remains simple. The standards remain firm.
OUR GIVING COMMITMENT
William Bennett currently directs 25 percent of annual net profits to registered charities and vetted advocacy partners.
Donations are reviewed and distributed on a recurring basis. Supported organizations may vary by year depending on active projects and need.

I created William Bennett to build something steady in a fast world.
Caring for animals and the natural world shapes how I choose materials and who we support. The intention was to create clothing that does not compete with life.
